Pineapple wine








Ingredients


  1. Pineapple ...1 large cut into medium pieces
  2. Water......15 cups
  3. Sugar........1 kg
  4. Cloves..........6-7
  5. Cinnamon stick.....1 small piece
  6. Peppercorns..............6-7
  7. Instant dry yeast.............2 tspn



Note

  1. The amount of sugar also depends on the sweetness of the pineapple
  2. Wash the jar properly and let it dry in the sun for a day so that it is sterilized. Alternately you can leave it under a fast running fan to dry. Do not simply wipe with a cloth and immediately use it for storing the wine as wiping will not necessarily remove all moisture. 


Method
  1. Mix 1 spoon sugar and yeast in a cup of lukewarm water and keep it aside for 10 minutes to ferment
  2. Boil pineapple till soft and let it cool; do not strain 
  3. Add the yeast mixture, sugar, cinnamon stick, peppercorns and cloves into it.
  4. Stir well, preferably with a wooden spatula, so that all the ingredients are mixed well.
  5. Pour the pineapple along with the water into the jar
  6. Close the jar tightly and cover it with a cloth and keep it in a dark place
  7. Stir the mixture with a wooden spatula every alternate day, preferably at the same time, for 42 days
  8. After 42 days, strain the mixture and once again store it in the airtight jar and keep it in dark place for 10 more days
  9. After 10 days, your pineapple wine is ready to be savored.
